We charge $5.15 per pound, based on the hanging weight plus processing costs.
-A half pig averages 75 pounds hanging weight ($386.25) That will be about 75% of take home cuts.
-Processing is $1.45 per hanging weight pound. ($108.75)- Processing is standard. We do take special requests, so let us know if you want anything special done with your meat.
Here is a very rough estimate of what to expect- Your hog will vary on how much of each you'll get, but this will give you an idea of the variety.
Tenderloin: 1lbs
Loin/Chops: 10lbs
Uncured, Smoked Bacon: 5lbs
Ribs: 3lbs
Should Roasts: 10lbs
Sausage/ground pork: 10lbs
